Anti-plagiarism Policy

Code of Ethics and Good Publishing Practice:

Culturales recognizes and adheres to the principles of transparency and best practices for academic publications promoted by the Ethics Committee for Publication [COPE] and by the Directory of Open Access Journals [DOAJ] to ensure the quality of the editorial process and the authenticity of their publications. For this, we also rely on the Elsevier Group's Resource Package for Ethics in Publication [PERK], and thus have the appropriate protocols to respond to the needs and performances of our authors, readers, opinion leaders and all actors involved in our editorial process. Detection of "Plagiarism":

As part of our standards, all authors of the articles received, must ensure the originality of their work. At the same time, and in accordance with our protocols of action, all articles will be reviewed by "antiplagious" software and available electronic databases, to detect duplicate or redundant, plagiarized or fraudulent content in any stage of the editorial process.

a) If the detection of the case occurs in the editorial review or arbitration process it will be immediately discarded for publication and will remain on its record as a rejected article and will be acted administratively in accordance with the document on Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing of the Culturales j Protocols of administrative action.

b) If detection occurs after the article has been published, it will proceed administratively in accordance with the guidelines established by Culturales in its document on Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing of the Culturales journal Protocols of administrative action.
