Culturales is a Latin American academic journal, digital, continuous publication and Open Access, which disseminates reflections and original research and unpublished in the field of cultural studies, sociocultural and culture. The works may be linked to different disciplines: Anthropology, Sociology, History, Social Psychology, Social Communication, Political Science and Philosophy. Culturales publishes articles in Spanish, English and Portuguese, and in its capacity as an arbitrated journal, the articles received are evaluated under the double blind system in a period of approximately of fifty fifty days; In addition, it publishes bibliographic reviews.
The Journal Culturales recognizes and adheres to the principles of transparency and best practice for scholarly publications promoted by the Committee on Publication Ethics / COPE and the Directory of Open Access Journals / DOAJ to ensure the quality of the editorial process and the Authenticity of publications. For this we also rely on the Publishing Ethics Resource Kit / PERK, and thus have the appropriate protocols to respond to the needs and performances of our authors, readers, reviewers and all actors involved in our editorial process.
